TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Casas do Portinho are local accommodation units, located at Largo da Alegria 1, 2430-266 Marinha Grande, registered in the National Tourism Register under number 117637/AL, owned by the company Rua das Flores, Lda, with headquarters in Largo da Alegria nº3, 2430-266 Marinha Grande, with single registration number and legal person 514624051 and a share capital of 5,000 Euros.
When making a reservation, you are entering into a service provision contract with the company Rua das Flores, Lda.
Reservations
When booking, the customer must correctly fill in the requested data, including arrival date (check-in), departure date (check-out), number of people (adults, children and babies) included, name, email address, phone number and country of residence.
In the booking process, the customer is presented with different rates according to the characteristics of the service and cancellation conditions. To the presented options, the customer can add extra services.
In the booking process, the rates shown are per room, but may, however, be presented per person or according to other characteristics, duly indicated on the website. If there is no mention of meals, it is considered that the selected rate does not include meals.
When checking in at CASAS DO PORTINHO, and for legal purposes, the customer and the other elements accompanying him or her must present their identification document.
When checking in at CASAS DO PORTINHO, a security deposit of €250.00 is required, which will be returned at checkout after verifying that there is no damage.
Booking changes
The customer can make changes to his reservation, using the same channels used to make the reservation or, alternatively, he can contact CASAS DO PORTINHO through alternative channels (telephone and e-mail).
Note that in certain situations, it may not be possible to make the requested changes, due, among other reasons, to the availability of accommodation units, the selected rate or the unavailability of partners.
Accommodation
The characteristics of the accommodation units at Casas do Portinho are those stated in the reservation.
Considering that the photographs illustrating the space were not taken when booking, there may be slight alterations between the photograph and the reality on the date of use, these alterations do not grant the right to any modification of the contract.
In situations of overbooking (number of reservations greater than the number of accommodation units available), the client accepts that Casas do Portinho may place him in another establishment and/or tourist development with similar characteristics without any additional costs, and he will not be entitled to any compensation or termination of the contract.
Accommodation units can be used from 14:00 on the date of arrival (check-in) and must be left free before 11:00 on the day of departure (check-out), local time.
Failure to comply with the departure time limit may lead to the payment of additional fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. The customer may request the late check-out option (when making the reservation), and this request may be subject to additional costs.
The customer must inform Casas do Portinho of the expected arrival time at the accommodation, for better procedure.
If Casas do Portinho do not have this information and cannot contact the client using the data provided by 21:00 on the date of arrival, the reservation is canceled and it is possible to trade the accommodation to third parties, without being held responsible for this.
The customer must respect the norms of the internal regulation for the use of the accommodation, and Casas do Portinho cannot be held liable for damages suffered by the client as a result of its violation.
Payment
The customer must pay the amount indicated on the booking form in order to benefit from the services.
The payment for the booking can be made by the client from the reservation platform associated with the official website of CASAS DO PORTINHO, at www.casasdoportinho.pt on the booking date, or at the accommodation, if available, on the date of arrival. However, payment at the accommodation requires the insertion of credit card details when making the booking for the purpose of guaranteeing the reservation.
The payment of the booking via the platform is made with a credit card issued by the proper entities with whom the reservation service provider collaborates.
Payment at the accommodation can be made through other means, and the client must inform in advance which ones are available on the date of arrival.
Casas do Portinho reserves the right to charge the entire reservation at any time from the date of the reservation.
The reservation platform associated with the official website of www.casasdoportinho.pt has a security certificate, ensuring that the data entered by the customer is encrypted.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation of the booking, the following conditions apply:
. Till 7 days before the reservation date, the cancellation has no costs.
. From the 6th day, before the reservation date (check-in from 2pm): 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged;
.24 hours before reservation date (check-in from 2pm): 100% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
Complaints and Conflict Resolution
Casas do Portinho have a Complaints Book.
For any issues relating to the contract for the provision of services, that cannot be solved in good faith, the parties designate the jurisdiction of the district of Marinha Grande as competent, expressly relinquishing any other. Alternatively, under the terms of the current law, the client may choose arbitration to settle consumer disputes.
